Beat the heat this summer

Here are some tips to keep you cool and safe this summer.

  • Wear light-weight clothing.
  • Drink a lot of water, especially before and after a work out.
  • Stay indoors during the hottest part if the day (between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.).
  • When outdoors, stay in the shade under an umbrella or trees.
  • Use a sunscreen of at least SPF15.
  • Wear a hat and sunglasses.

When people begin to have heat exhaustion it is important for them to get care right away.
